Andrew Ritchie is the founder of Brompton Bicycle and one of the most influential figures in modern urban cycling. Decades spent designing bikes for real-world city use, where weight, reliability, and practicality matter most, led him down a design idea for compact, effective electric assistance. Ckanta is the result of that insight: a system shaped by experience in how people actually ride and live with bicycles.
